Discover famous places in Austria and Germany!
Cultural trips are an important part of learning a foreign language. From Bogenhofen you can reach many culturally important places. Thus the learning of the German language becomes interactive and life-like.
There are several trips during the year. The order may vary depending on the student's interest or weather:
1. Trimester:
Braunau
Braunau can be reached from Bogenhofen in about 5 minutes by train and is the nearest town in the area.
Austrian Alps
At the beginning of the year, the school organizes a joint trip into the mountains for all departments.
Vienna (four days)
In autumn the language students spend four days in the Austrian capital of Vienna.
2. Trimester:
Salzburg Christmas Market:
At the beginning of December we will go to Salzburg to visit the famous Christmas market.
Ski week:
Since Bogenhofen is not very far from the Austrian Alps, one can not miss the skiing. This week, during which you can learn to ski or snowboard, is the highlight of the second trimester for most students.
3. Trimester:
Berlin, Potsdam and / or Wittenberg, Dresden (one week)
In the third trimester, our journey takes us to the German capital, Berlin, which has a lot to offer culturally and historically. From there you can also reach Potsdam or Wittenberg, where Martin Luther posted his 95 theses. We then drive to Dresden, the so-called Elbflorenz.
Neuschwanstein
Another favorite travel destinations that should not be missed, which we visit towards the end of the study year: Neuschwanstein Castle, built by King Ludwig II. The view oft he castle is particularly beautiful from the Marienbrücke.
