Department of Biblical Languages (BS)
Prerequisite for admission to the second part of the study (main study = 3rd & 4th year of study) is the successful completion of qualifying language skills in Hebrew and Greek. These can be acquired during the first two academic years. Parallel to the courses in Hebrew and Greek courses can be taken in the first part of the study (basic study = 1st and 2nd year of study). It is possible at the end of the first part of the study to complete a state-recognized examination for Biblical Hebrew (Hebraicum) and biblical Greek (Graecum) in collaboration with the Theological University of Friedensau.
